I am Aylen Garcia and I am a new 2024-2025 Owl Flight reporter. What I hope to accomplish by being apart of this publication is to write enrapturing stories that readers will follow and enjoy. I would also like to write my takes on a variety of engaging topics. Aside from the Owl Flight newspaper, I am also apart of FCCLA as the VP of Membership, Cosmetology as the VP, DECA, Student Council, NHS, and art club.
Outside of school, I spend most of my time hanging out with friends, going to the gym, being with family, and watching TV while spending time with my dog. Some of my favorite things to watch are Friends, Gravity Falls, Iron Man 1 & 3, and Fast and Furious 1 & 2. My music taste is pretty all-encompassing aside from country music; some songs I really love are Hotel California by Eagles, Nobody Gets Me by SZA, and Somethin’ Stupid by Frank & Nancy Sinatra.
