Owls are excited for Thanksgiving break

With Thanksgiving break just around the corner, the halls are buzzing with excitement with talk about everyone’s plans for the week-long break.

“I’m leaving after school [Friday] to go to Big Bend [National Park] in New Mexico,” senior Jacob Woods said. “We’re going to go jeeping on some trails, and camp in tents.”

While some students will travel out of town or even out of the state, others will stay home for the break.

“[I will be] working, and we’re having Thanksgiving at my house,” senior Zach Beene said.

Even teachers are ready for this holiday break.

“I’m going to First Leap, and then [grading] papers,” science teacher Doug Massey said. “Then I will fish my way over to Hico and have Thanksgiving dinner at the Coffee Cup Cafe.”

Have a happy Thanksgiving, Joshua.
